GUIDELINES

Prior to certification, CSAT®-Candidates must have a minimum of 30 hours of Supervision with an Active CSAT® Supervisor. Of this, a maximum of 20 hours may be group supervision (no more than 6 participants), and there is no maximum on individual hours. CSAT® -S Candidates must have a minimum of 5 hours of face-to-face (webcam qualifies), in-person supervision during their individual supervision process, and the use of web cams for supervision and phone supervision is permitted.

Candidates are strongly encouraged to begin the supervision process after completion of Module 1, but must have active cases which are working with a sex addict, Co-SA or recovering couple in order to work with a Supervisor.
