We are proud to announce our 2019 IITAP® Refresher Webinar Series!  This series consists of 8 live interactive training webinars.  The 8 webinars are scheduled during October & November 2019 and are facilitated by IITAP's core CSAT® Faculty. Each webinar awards (4) IITAP CE’s and up to 3.5 CE’s for other Approved Continuing Education Providers (ACEP) and Sponsor organizations (APA) as identified within the Continuing Education Section below.

This webinar is limited to 40 participants only.

Pricing: CSATs, PSAPs, ASATs: $175 per training or purchase a *bundle of 4 trainings for $600

Participant Requirements: Attendees will be required to have a laptop with audio and a video camera to participate in training.  Each training will be conducted via zoom.com. Instructions to attain zoom login information will be emailed out prior to each training.  Each participant is required to complete the evaluation at the end of each webinar to receive their Certificate of Completion and CE’s.   It is the responsibility of the participant to be on time and participate for the entire webinar to earn CE's. The participant is responsible for their hardware, software, and connectivity to the webinar session. 

Cancellation Policy:  All webinars registrations are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. 

Webinar will be LIVE and will not be recorded for future use.

Addictive Love and Relationships

This webinar will address the painful and addictive love process that negatively impacts not only the love addict but also the individuals with whom they are in relationships. Topics include what happens in the brain that makes it hard to break the cycle; highlights of cultural factors and attachment patterns (attachment theory – John Bowlby) that lead to craving the perfect partner who will bring endless happiness; and how to break the cycle. 

Objectives:

  • Identify Love Addiction (Toxic Relational Patterns)
  • Assess how to best help those in the cycle
  • Implement best treatment practices and plans for long-term sobriety

About Janie Lacy: 

Janie Lacy, LMHC, NCC, CSAT, is a local and national TV commentator and the founder of Life Counseling Solutions in Maitland, FL.  She is devoted to teaching, leading, and counseling people toward healthiness in all areas of their lives. She gets on the front line with individuals and couples facing emotional crisis. She has a unique way to connect with those that she serves in her relational approach to help them heal from anger challenges, sexual dysfunction, and relational betrayal. 

She is also currently pursuing her Ph.D in Counseling Psychology through California Southern University and facilities a 12 week experiential therapy group several times throughout the year for women who struggle with love addiction.
