The 8 webinars are scheduled during October & November 2019 and are facilitated by IITAP's core CSAT® Faculty. Each webinar awards (4) IITAP CE’s and up to 3.5 CE’s for other Approved Continuing Education Providers (ACEP) and Sponsor organizations (APA) as identified within the Continuing Education Section below.

Participant Requirements: Attendees will be required to have a laptop with audio and a video camera to participate in training. Each training will be conducted via zoom.com. Instructions to attain zoom login information will be emailed out prior to each training. Each participant is required to complete the evaluation at the end of each webinar to receive their Certificate of Completion and CE’s. It is the responsibility of the participant to be on time and participate for the entire webinar to earn CE's. The participant is responsible for their hardware, software, and connectivity to the webinar session.

In this interactive session, Dr. Carnes will utilize patient assessments to explore issues of differential diagnosis and treatment. A wide variety of cases will be presented, including issues such as paraphilias and offending, complex trauma, partner and adult children issues, and technology addiction. This will include presentations on the new Sexual Digital Media Inventory (SDMI), which assesses pornography and use of modern technologies in a more comprehensive manner.
- Assess compulsive technology use with the SDMI.
- Utilize assessments to conduct differential diagnosis.
- Assess partner trauma and complex trauma using case data from assessments.

About Stefanie Carnes:
Stefanie Carnes, Ph.D., CSAT-S is the President of the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals, a training institute and professional organization for addiction professionals, and a senior fellow for Meadows Behavioral Healthcare where she works with sexually addicted clients and their families. Dr. Carnes is the clinical architect for Willow House: Relationship Healing for Women struggling with sex, love and intimacy disorders, and works closely with the staff of Willow House and Gentle Path to bring her unique expertise to the programs and to aid the clients who suffer with intimacy and relationship disorders. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and an AAMFT approved supervisor. Her area of expertise includes working with patients and families struggling with multiple addictions such as sexual addiction, eating disorders and chemical dependency. Dr. Carnes is also a certified sex addiction therapist and supervisor, specializing in therapy for couples and families struggling with sexual addiction. She presents regularly at conferences at both the state and national levels. She is also the author of numerous publications including her books, Mending a Shattered Heart: A Guide for Partners of Sex Addicts, and Facing Heartbreak: Steps to Recovery for Partners of Sex Addicts, and Facing Addiction: Starting Recovery from Alcohol and Drugs. She currently co-facilitates Module 2 in the Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) Training.
