Defining Healthy Sex
Facilitated by Dr. Stefanie Carnes
Friday, November 6, 2020- 8:00 am- 12:00 pm PST

*4 Supervisor Credits Available *

In recovery from sex addiction it is not always easy to define what healthy sexuality is for our clients, this is especially true when sex therapy issues such as BDSM, fetishes and polyamory are part of the picture.  In this interactive webinar, Dr. Stefanie Carnes will tackle the question, "what is healthy sex"? Dr. Carnes will discuss the importance of individualizing our client's sexual health plans and how to re-integrate sexual behaviors in a healthy way.

Objectives:
After this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Participants will be able to define healthy sexuality

  2. Participants will examine their own biases and countertransference relating to challenging sex therapy issues
  3. Participants will understand how to individualize a client's sexual health plan when both compulsive sexual behavior and sex therapy issues are present.
