All IITAP Ethics Committee Members have been selected for their expertise in the field. There is not any identified conflict of interest for any committee member.
The International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) places great emphasis on ethics, rights and responsibilities. The fundamental objectives of the Ethics Committee shall be to maintain ethical conduct by CSATs at the highest professional level, to educate them concerning ethical standards, to endeavor to protect the public against harmful conduct by CSATs, and to aid IITAP in achieving its objectives.
The chair of the committee is IITAP's President, and the committee members are a diverse and multidisciplinary group of CSATs that have all agreed to IITAP's core beliefs and ethics policies.
