Adjunct Faculty

One of the amazing attributes of the IITAP community is the depth of knowledge of its professionals. The field of addiction recovery is constantly evolving and methodologies are being added to enhance the client experience and solidify the complexities of establishing a life of recovery. Our Adjunct Faculty demonstrates this evolution by adapting the 30 task model and incorporating the basic tenets of the treatment foundations provided by Dr. Carnes in new and exciting ways. Some teach components of other addictions (Chemical Dependency/ Money and Work Disorders) while others are honing specific skills/practices that optimize the experience for the client- be it the person with the addiction, the partner or the couple as a client.
